You now remember former Orlando Magic center, Patrick Ewing.
Don't forget about the team he truly is remembered for.
When someone says "Patrick Ewing" first thought of anyone is "Sonics"
I remember when Raptor center Hakeem Olajuwon shat on the Magic center Patrick Ewing in the NBA finals
>>64115107
>raptors
>finals
lol nice one
you guys remember that guy Scottie Pippen who was the starting small forward for the Portland Trail-Blazers?
>>64117328
Clearly photoshopped. Scottie played on the Rockets with Hakeem and Barkley
>>64117383
Forgot pic
>>64117383
>>64117403
dont think so; barkley was a life-long 76er
>you now remember Jordan came back to play on Wizards
my favorite player of all time is the 2nd scorer all time, but you might recognize him as the starting power forward for the Los Angeles Lakers
Hakeem was a raptors legend
when will the C's retire his jersey?
>>64117472
i cant fucking stand this ring chasing bastard. He quit baseball just so he could join the bulls when they were dominant.
People hated Lebron when he left the Cavs to chase rings with the heat, this fucker CHANGED THE SPORT HE WAS PLAYING
Its a fucking shame too, i loved seeing him out on the diamond, but he let his greed take over and change his legacy
>>64117532
Holy shit I forgot this happened
>>64117833
I envy that
>>64117727
>I loved seeing him on the diamond
in fucking space jam?
he only played in the minors lmao
>>64117864
exactly my point.
He was starting to show promise, but proved to be impatient, with zero work ethic who had no will to work hard and get better.
He just decided to join the Bulls so he could have any sort of success
>>64117669
I remember how painful it was to watch him at this stage in his career
>>64114993
Jesus Christ
At least they got him a ring.
>>64117403
the fact that team never won the championship shows how much a stat padding scrub Chuck was
>>64119025
>tfw the Spurs never managed to get TMac a ring
FUCKING RAY ALLEN
>>64117727
He won 3 in a row before he left. Probably would have won 8 in a row if he didn't leave
>>64119247
>>64119238
lol >he actually believes this
>>64114839
Tom's trusty veteran back, Freddy T.
>>64119183
Thome with the Dodgers was weird too
>>64119412
>>64117969
>these posts
>any sort of success
>implying bulls don't 8peat, maybe drop one to hakeem
>people still assmad about the bulls 90's dynasty they werent alive to see
>being fifteen years old in the year of our lord 2015
>>64119223
In that picture, Hakeem and Barkley are both 36.
what happens if he comes back for one more season with the sixers?
literally the greatest seahawk of all time
>>64120701
i think you found a way for the sixers to actually get worse
and people say brady never has elite receivers
when you notice Jaromir Jagr is STILL playing in the NHL
>>64117439
this post confuses me
barkley was a sixer for like 8 years
>>64120748
He's been on like every team
Absolutely nothing surprising
>>64120581
that makes my eyes burn
>>64120748
its not like 40+year olds dont happen often with nhl. for a sport that prides itself on toughness, it requires like zero endurance and very little physicality. many of the best hockey players look like video game nerds
>>64120718
he wasn't elite in NE.
>>64119247
McNabb in Raves gear was weird too
>>64121486
seahawks got him for like a 3rd round pick in the draft
>>64119237
Blame Popovich for not putting T-Mac in when Manu Ginobili was having 8 (eight) turnovers.
Chicago White Sox Hall of Fame Announcer Harry Carry
>>64121508
*Ravens
>>64121493
I hope this is a troll
anyway, why we bothered giving this over-the-hill roid monster a last chance, I'll never know.
>>64117969
>with zero work ethic who had no will to work hard and get better.
congratulations that's the dumbest shit I've ready today
Still early though, someone might beat you
One does not become GOAT in a sport by being lazy, retard
>>64120581
speaking of little-known former Patriots
>>64121596
>little-known
Taylor was not little-known, dipshit. Should have said
>Guys You Never Knew Were NE Patriots

Watch "Jordan Rides the Bus"
He left basketball almost immediately after his father's death because he was overcome with grief. It was his father's dream to watch him play baseball so Jordan wanted to chase that. He was also kind of done with the every team trying to take him out of every game with hard fouls. He also legitimately thought he could become a great baseball player.
So he sucks at first but by all accounts the more time he got on the field the better he got. His curve of improvement, given the short amount of time he had devoted to baseball, was so impressive most thought he would one day start for an MLB team.
Then baseball started talking about the strike and Jordan didn't want to get involved in a sport in which he was a bit player's labor disputes. He wouldn't stand with the player's union, it wasn't his fight.
The reason Jordan left baseball was because he didn't want to spend an undetermined amount of time sitting around on strike. He would never admit this but he probably also kind of longed for being a super star as compared to being an opening monologue Leno joke.
You now remember True Yankee, Ichiro Suzuki
>>64119183
Jesus Christ, is Jim Thome the largest human ever?
>>64122175
he is pretty damn big, and as far we know he's never used roids to get that way. He was a bit trimmer in his early years, though.
If you're a HoF-bound player on a team sport, been with the same team forever, but in the twilight years while your team has never won a championship with you. Do you play out one last season with your "home" team with no shot at a championship, or do you take the money from a powerhouse that is almost guaranteed to become champs?
>tl;dr last year of your HoF career with only one team, no champs, do you stay or do you take the $$$ from a team with a shot of winning it all?
>>64114839
The Space Jam guy?
>>64122206
>>64122175
>Reminder that Thome is number 3 in the CLEAN home run record.
>>64122396
how do you explain his bulking-up right around the time of Peak Steroid Era (1996-2001), and staying that big since? He made sure that he ate his Wheaties?
>>64122347
did you see how happy lebron was after he won one? always go championship chasing
>>64122163
ichiro probably meant this so sarcatically
>>64122175
He's a big guy
You know remember Shareef Abdur Raheem. Guy could've been a goat if injuries and suck team wouldn't have killed him
>>64122514
You're missing the point of this thread ese.
>>64122474 for (You)
>>64117472
man why couldn't he have come back to a good team instead of the fucking wizards
would have been cool to see what old man jordan could do in the playoffs
>>64117727
Lol.
There is a good point about him leaving the bulls and Lebrun leaving the cavs though. Bulls win 55 without Jordan, cavs were bottom of the league without Lebron
>>64122396
>Willie Mays and Ken Griffey Jr. used roids
are you high?
>>64122929
Actually it speaks to how much better of a player Jordan is and how he demanded excellence from his teammates compared to a quitting loser like LeBron who was probably the entire reason the team had zero morale or chemistry, just like every team he's ever played on.
Your Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, number 80, Jerry Rice!
Truly the greatest player in Redskins history.
The GOAT, Jason Taylor.
>>64119271
Fuck that guy
>>64120701
It would be a great way for legendary Charlotte Hornet Kobe Bryant to close out his career.
>Tfw in a few years we could see
>Jacksonville Jaguar starting QB Tom Brady
>Chicago Bull backup SG Dwyane Wade
>Charlotte Hornets bench player Tim Duncan
