The football we played last season in 2015 was wonderful. When we beat City, Liverpool, Spurs, Villa in a row and scored 3-4 goals in each of them. Oh and Liverpool.

And no, managers don't 'let it happen' they go all out to ENSURE that it happens by packing the defense and midfield and playing only one up top (if that). It's a clear and direct strategy that says "Well, there's no way in hell we're going to win this game. United are a far better team than us. Our best hope is to sit back and hope for the best. It's all we've got. It's the only play we've got. Let's defend and with a bit of luck we'll scrape a point."
And that's the exact same mentality City had as well.
