From what I have seen of the female game though, it certainly isn't pretty at times. I used to play competitive American pool (9-ball, 10-ball, etc) as well as English 8-ball, and I can quite comfortably say the top female snooker players, based on what I've seen, are about as good as I am at snooker (if not a little worse), even though I never played snooker competitively - only Pool.
