Because Panthers are still a young team. I'm from NC, and growing up it was always Cowboys, Dolphins or Red Skins fans around me. My nephew is the first legit Panthers fan from NC that I've been around, because he's the first generation to grow up with them as a home team. You can't expect people to just drop their teams, anon.
