I don't like when people say that you have to be rich to enjoy London. There's loads of things to do that aren't expensive. The majority of the museums are free, there's plenty of cafes, parks affordable restaurants, gigs etc. that don't require lots of money. Night clubs as well if you avoid central London. Of course rent is expensive as fuck and you need to live with someone unless you make a lot of money.
