women's college basketball is actually a great watch. Even though it's less psychical than the men's game, the level of fundamentals is impressive and you can see some true talent. Furthermore, the game relies more on 5-on-5 playing than having a superstar on your roster and some so-so players, though that's becoming less true in men's cbb now so it's becoming a somewhat moot point.
Where it suffers is it's disparity between programs. If you think the men's game is dominated by "blue blood" programs you haven't seen much women's cbb - the entire league is dominated by a select few programs, namely UConn, ND, Baylor and a couple others. While this might not sound much different than saying "well Kentucky/Duke/Kansas are always contenders!" the fact is that the men's teams are much more likely to lose and stay down to earth as opposed to a women's Huskies team, which loses so infrequently it's downright boring unless you're a fan of that team. Some might call this salt, but when your Final Four becomes the same four teams almost every single year the game loses a lot of interest fast. Additionally, it makes potentially-fun things like upsets and recruiting far less interesting to track because upsets are so infrequent and recruiting is one of those things where the teams who are so dominant just get the dominant players and the cycle continues.
Overall it's a good watch if you can look past the lack of physicality. The game has it's issues and come March is it WAY less exciting than the men's tournament, but it's not nearly as boring or dry as you might think.

Maybe this is true for D1, but I go to a D2 school and work at some of their games and holy shit is it terrible basketball. There's at least 25 - 30 traveling calls a game, they can't shoot, and it's ridiculously slow-paced.
It's also hilarious watching those big girls who absolutely dominate in the paint. There's some 6'4ish white girl on our school team who has literally no basketball ability and gets tried after 5 minutes of court time, but damn does she clean up in the middle. She misses at least half of her easy put back opportunities but she gets so many of them that she's guaranteed at least 15 ppg.
Some of the girls are so clear above the rest that they dominate but overall it's pretty shit basketball. The dropoff from D1 to D2 is so huge that I have absolutely no doubt I could sub in at any time and play as well as any of them.
Ladies college basketball allowed me to have sex with a 6'6" black lady so all in all I'm pretty neutral on it. Yeah, amazon butt but then again the pace is sloooooooow
