With the Sheriff down its up to Deputy Osweiler to bring justice to this Deflated spy gate organization. Are pats fans going to be okay if he succeeds?
>>
>>63770698
I hate the Broncos but I kinda want them to have an incredible season with Osweiler just to make sure that Peyton never comes back.
>>
>>63770850
Why so much hate for Peyton? He's the nicest qb in football.
>>
>>63770867
He's allegedly a huge dick what are you talking about.
Also Dalton, Cam (unless you're a bitch) and Brees all seem nicer
>>
>>63770867
Guess it has to do with the fact that I occasionally watch NFL on german television. And on there they constantly talk about how Peyton is the greatest of all time and how he is playing a great season when he is throwing more INTs than TDs.

The most annoying thing was before the Broncos-Seattle Superbowl where they would have like a special 30min talk about how great Peyton is and how the Hawks have no chance against him and would be lucky if it was a close game.
>>
>>63770877
Where do nice guys finish again?

Please remind me
>>
>>63770880
That's because in 2013 Peyton manning was a literal monster.
>>
>>63770886
the Legion of Boom was also on point that year and destroyed everybody. So I just don't get why they would constantly have to remind me how great Peyton is. And they still do it in 2015 when it is clear that he has lost zip on the ball and throws way too many INTs. It just annoys me.
>>
>>63770896
There was a lot of Richard Sherman hype that year. A lot.
>>
>>63770900
well maybe I just notice it more when it's about Peyton because I didn't like him from the start. I agree that he is the best regular season QB but he hasn't impressed me in the Playoffs and I think he is overrated in general.

Brees beat Manning in the Owl, Panthers are 10-0, Bengals lost two games in a row and still had a better record than Manning
>>
>>63770905
Shouldn't you be hating on Andy Dalton? Al least Peyton manning can make it past the first round.
>>
>>63770922
Andy Dalton's been in the hot seat before. Manning hasnt
>>
Peyton manning gets criticized all the time even when he wins. You just wouldn't notice unless you are a fan. In fact he's probably one of the most criticized QBs in the nfl.
>>
>>63770922
well Andy Dalton is considered a very average QB as far as I can tell so I wouldn't say he is overrated.
>>
>>63770947
Are you kidding me. Have you been on /sp/ this year or watched any sports shows. Andy Dalton was being treated like the second comeing of Christ up until he lost.
>>
Anyhow all that matters is That The Broncos led by Brock won this game. The Broncos are literally the last team on there schedule that can beat them.

Tbqh I feel Buncos D can bring Pats down. Because its home ground, Pats recieving corps are thin as fuck right now, and they have a holey O-line. When you see Buncos D has been consistently recording sacks, ints, return ints during the season... With a QB that wont throw 3 picks a game, they should be able to use the injury woes of NE
>>
if Manning really wants to play another year after this season the only logical move would be to have him re-sign with the colts and backup andrew luck in a mentorship style role. Manning analyzes the defenses like a coach would and tells luck play calls he think will work. Manning still gets to wear the pads, and if luck goes down they have a more than capable backup in manning and hopefully the colts can get their heads out of their asses next year and compete for a title.

andrew luck and the colts winning the superbowl next year, with manning as the backup is his best chance of riding off into the sunset. after that the colts can hire him as a quarterbacks coach or something

Or he can just become the best offensive coordinator to ever exist in the history of the NFL.
>>
>>63771002
in my opinion he would be better as a qb coach. if you let manning run the whole offense there will be probably 5 running plays all season, and after every drive he will just lambaste the offensive line for playing like shit

Peyton has chickened out with an injury and is probably happy not to be meeting up with Major Tom.

Broncos
Cardinals
Vikings
Dallas with Romo
Falcons

How many of these teams have the Pats played I forgot?
>>
>>63771675
#1 D in points allowed, a whole .1 point ahead of Broncos, too bad you have something like the 27th ranked passing defense.
>>
>>63781268
Plus I bet the pats have not gone up against a pair of receivers like ES and DT. Sanders should finally be back this week and Brock has the arm to utilize him. Major deep threat. Also I think Vernon Davis is going to be used more this week.
>>
>>63771545
GIMME THAT BALLLLL NIGGA!
>>
>>63781078
>dallas with Romo
He's overblown. Nothing will make the Cowboys good. Lost to TB. Lost by 24 points to the pats. Romo won't make a difference if the Pats put up that many points against them, even if he wasn't a choke artist.

>Green Bay
They've suddenly lost the will to live. I think Rodgers is having girl problems or something. They went from amazing to complete suck. This makes me sad.

>Cardinals
Hahahahahaha. Oh wait you're serious. They lost to the rams.

>Vikings
Are you even serious? They lost to garbage teams.

>Falcons
Now I know you're not serious. Lost to TB AND SF.

The big threats all neutralized themselves. The Pats probably won't stay undefeated, but there's no whole team in the NFC right now, except the Panthers.
>>
>>63782301
So what in your eyes a team need to be undeafeated to be considered a good team? Any of those teams could beat the Pats. Everyone there has faced a worthy team except the Pats.

@jeffphowe: Danny Amendola suffered a knee sprain and seems to be good for Denver, per source. @tomecurran first to report.

IT'S OGRE FOR DENVER
>>
>>63783001
I don't understand why people treat Amendola like a elite. He's average at best. Tom Brady and Belichicks play calling allow him to stand out. On most other teams he is a nobody.
>>
>>63783001
I just make a poor with a random real elite. For instance if the Texans wanted a straight across DeAndre Hopkins for Amendola you'd be an idiot to turn them down.
>>
>>63782835
No, they need to not lose to a shit team. They beat "good teams" that also lost to shit teams like TB, while themselves losing to teams like TB. I shit on TB, but they're consistently terrible, like the Jaguars. If your opponent can't beat the joke of the NFL, your opponent is shite and a bad metric for what makes a good team, barring injuries. So, I'm not really seeing how many of the teams are worthy.

A couple of the teams may be forgiven for losing games they shouldn't have, but GB is awful, the Falcons are mediocre, and the Vikings are mediocre as well. That leaves Dallas and Arizona, of which Dallas has proven that Romo can't save that team time and time again.

The Giants have consistently good strategy against the Pats, and could have won with better execution, despite their record this year. Arizona may be able to beat the Pats, but they don't play unless it's in the superbowl. Maybe the pats had an easy schedule, or maybe the teams you think of as worthy really aren't.
>>
>>63783001
I just make a example with a random real elite. For instance if the Texans wanted a straight across trade DeAndre Hopkins for Amendola you'd be an idiot to turn them down.>>63783830

My bad
>>
>>63783909
All I'm saying is any of these teams healthy would have a good chance at beating the Pats. This game against the Broncos is going to be their first real test.
>>
>>63783597
He's a great fit for the team and an elite short pass guy. He has the ability to fight for extra yards and has good hands up close. None of the WRs on the Patriots are particularly fast, but they're all able to get those couple extra yards, which is what matters when you're playing for first downs rather than deep threat. He wouldn't be elite on any other team because they don't know how to play to his strengths. He is elite on the Pats because his strengths fit the strategy really well.
>>
>>63771502
Romo and Dez don't play defense.
>>
>>63783981
The Pats aren't exactly healthy now either. Neither are the Broncos. Manning having a fucking stroke has got to effect the team. We'll see about that other guy who's been sacked 8 times in 2 games. Maybe his inexperience will be shaken off by then or manning will unstroke and come out shooting.
>>
>>63784130
All the cowboys games have been close. The problem is the shitty QBs they have had couldn't score enough damn points. There defense is actually good.

On the other games, yes. But with that game against the Patirots the Cowboy's defense was the problem.
>>
>>63784281
Maybe but I think there defense could force some turnovers. Also I think a healthy Cowboys offense could score over 30 on the pats. I wouldn't doubt it if they blow out can and company. Im not a cowboys fan but Romo can make plays.
>>

Broncos fan actually. Romo is one of the best QBs in the NFL. He can escape pressure and throws an accurate ball and is also a team leader. I think he led the NFL in passing yards last year.
>>
>>63781268
add that between 20-30 of those points were manning's fault
>>
>>63783909
Green Bay, Arizona, and Bengals (At Home) would all beat the patriots the way they are playing right now. Broncos would have had a better shot with a healthy Manning. Patriots are lucky as fuck. No matter, coming from a colts fan, a soft regular season schedule causes nothing but heartbreak.
