Who are the biggest Real Madrid transfer jokes? Here are their top 50 transfers of all time.
Barely anything can beat >Drenthe
>>63754281
How much more money have they spent than any other club? Must be like 150 million more at least
Jonathan Woodgate
>>63754309
What about Elvir Baljić for 15,60 milion euros Bale, Kaka, Illaramendi? There is so much potential
>>63754338
Kaka just got fucked over by injuries. Bale helped them win muh decima (though was still overpriced) and Illa was a legit retarded transfer.
I completely forgot Walter Samuel played for them.
>>63754281
>Robinho

SUM top 25 transfers:
Real Madrid: 1 072 900 000
Barcelona: 849 850 000
Chelsea: 744 770 000
Man Utd: 803 580 000
City: 833 450 000
others are less
You now remember Julien Faubert
>Faubert was given permission to speak to Real Madrid on 30 January 2009, with the move being completed on 31 January, when he signed on loan until the end of the 2008–09 season for a reported fee of £1.5 million with an option for Real to purchase him on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Faubert made his Real Madrid debut on 7 February 2009 in a 1–0 win against Racing Santander. His loan with Real Madrid was underwhelming. He missed training when he mistakenly thought he had the day off, and was pictured asleep on the bench during Real Madrid's match against Villarreal. His loan spell finished with only two appearances.

Bale, by far.
It's that he's bad, but he would be best suited as a left-back, and Real Madrid already has Marcelo. They paid 94 million for a left-back they don't need.
Probably Bale and James considering their price. Bale is just not made out for lel liga and James is good but Spanish teams don't play with 10s anymore.

>he would be best suited as a left-back
He wouldn't. He really sucked as a LB.
>>63754606
He didn't suck as a left back. He wasn't great but he was a teenager attacking player playing out of position so what do you expect?
No doubt that his best position is on the right wing. He's just like an inferior Robben.
>>63754330
This isn't remembered enough to madridistas. Also Emerson, Illarramendi and Robinho
>>63754465
so while Real are a joke, they're still (slightly) less of a joke than City and United
at least Real has won a CL in the last few years (United's in 2008 is too far back to count as recent)

Illa, Drenthe, Kaka, Robinho, Woodgate, Sneijder, Robben and Huntelaar
Kaká had a groin injury requiring long surgery right before he joined RM in 2009/10.
He never recovered from it, it completely killed his pace. Yet RM bought him anyways, because he was highly marketable. Technically, it's not that Kaká didn't play according to expectation - it's those expecations from RM that were misplaced to begin with, so I wouldn't call that a flop.
That's what it is. RM isn't a team, it's a marketing scheme.
The actual worst flop is probably Anelka (due to how unproductive and redundant he was), Beckham (useless, redundant and meant Makelele had to go, but I'm sure he paid his price in shirts) or Danilo.

Agree with Beckham, to be honest the whole Galactico squad was fucking terrible, literally the same as today a bunch of names disguised as a team.
Their starting XI was unbalanced as fuck
>>63754281
what site is this?
>kaka
>beckham
>anelka
>iyalamendi

Figo and Zidane carried that team.
>>63758117
>Zidane
One of the reasons why the galactico shit is retarded. Hyped up meme but not even that great.
I always loved that this hobgoblin played for them. Not the worst signing, since he was so cheap, but still a strange one.
