I've done it /sp/. I have created the formula to find out which US city is the most successful in sports, I call it the Sports Success Rate. It's pretty simple really, SSR = # of titles/# of teams. Some ground rules before we start.
All cities counted have at least 3 teams.
“City” consists of the whole metro area.
No MLS.
Titles won after 2005 have a multiplier of x1.5, while titles won before 1970 have a multiplier of x0.5.
Titles won by a team that has left the city are nullified.
Titles won by a team before they moved into the city are nullified.
Titles won outside the current league format (ABA championships, AFL championships) are nullified.
