except Curry is 3rd in steals and 4th in defensive win shares. He is objectively a good defender, and pretty much always had been. But apparently because he is skinny and 6'3 and not on the level of say Westbrook athletically there seems to be this idea that he is poor at defense or gets carried by his team defensively which is just not true.
