At one point a few years back, every American fighter in the UFC had a wrestling background. And a substantial number of Brazilians had a bjj background.
It depends on how you define grappling/wrestling wins, though. Currently, striking seems to be making bigger strides toward winning mma fights, very few fighters can get to the upper echelon without at least a serviceable striking game anymore.
