It's illegal but if a fighter moves their head and that's where they get hit its pretty much their fault but if you hit them deliberately they'll call a timeout and if it's bad they'll take a point away or stop the fight

Watch the moment where Rousey goes down. Holm CLEARLY takes a swing directly at the back of her head. I can't see any signs of impact in the clip, but it was awfully close and I was asking if maybe anyone on here might have seen it better.
