who's this hobo again?
>>

He has loads of talent. Just tends to turn the ball over too much.
>>
>>63469371
now listen to what you just said
>>
>>63469446
In terms of pure talent, Cutler is indeed elite. In terms of actual QB IQ, he's horrible. So he usually comes off as very mediocre. If he can stop the turnovers he would be very good.

Serious question: Is Cutler the most clutch 4th quarter QB in the league? If it weren't for the defense failing him after those clutch 4th quarter scoring drives, the bears would literally be 5-3 or even 6-2.
>>
>>63470827
this season yea maybe. But he has shit the bed before so probably not.
Eli probably is t b h
>>
>>63470827
Have you watched professional football prior to this season?

In the league this season. No doubt all time its Eli Manning.

I think I had bever seen J. Cutler play or I dont remember but I was impressed by the power of his arm.

Does he have the most powerful throw on the NFL?
>>
>>63470976
Not really a shitpost though. Cutler did engineer 4th quarter drives that led to taking the lead in multiple games this season. Not his fault the defense gave it back and lost the game.
>>
>>63471010
yes that is a very well known fact. he can throw it like 70 yards or some shit
>>
>>63471018
yea that is true, but he asked from a career stand point. and he has shit the bed many times in the 4th.
>>
>>63471022
>>63471010

Problem is it usually lands into the graps of the opposing teams cb.
>>
Speaking as a Chicagoan, I think that Cutler is actually THE most talented QB in the league right now. He's quite literally Brady tier in almost every sense of the word.

Unfortunately he's been mismanaged by one bad coach after another throughout his entire career and was never given a chance to shine, and he knows this.
>>
>>63471048
XD omg great meme
>>
>>63471056
He literally had offensive genius and quarterback whisperer Marc Trestman and he managed to not only fuck it up but also completely ruin Trestman.

How do you explain that?
>>
>>63471068
>marc trestman
>genius
nigger did you watch anything the bears did last season??
His play calling was executed like a jr. pee wee football team.
He coached in the Canadimeme league. he may have decent knowledge but it wont work in the NFL.
The plays were sloppy, constant missed locking assignments, wide outs not knowing the routes, and above all, predictable calls.
That fucking awful screen play he always tried to run every series. Just fuck that guy.
>>
>>63471068
Everything sucked under trestman. Defense, Offense, Special teams.
>>
The problem with Cutler is that he's one of those professionals who works better with the proper guidance and motivation. Money rarely does things for him. He needs a sense of partnership and a joyful locker room.

Chicago is depressing.
>>
>>63471116
>ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS
>>
>>63471116
Normally I would just ignore a post I didnt like.
But how the fuck do you know any of that? Cutler is actually kind of a dick and hard to get along with according to ex teammates and even ex best friend brandon marshall even talked shit about him after leaving chicago. So i have a hard time believing anything you say. If you can show me some evidence to the contrary I will happily whistle a new tune.
>>
>>63471116
He's clearly better than Grossman and Orton, but it feels like theyre a worse team than they with Grossman and Orton.

Honestly looks like a bunch of guys just going into a job to put in their time and get out.
>>
>>63471116

He's fucking paid, living in a great city and married to a hottie. He doesn't need to try anymore.

If I was a pro player and got paid over 100 million dollars I'd literally just take the cash and walk off the team. I couldn't spend that much in 5 lifetimes.
>>
>>63471147
thats cause it is.
I dont mean to brady post but he is an excellent example of a guy who wants to win. Takes pay cuts and when he throws a pick, he loses his fucking shit.
Cutty throws a pick and goes to the side lines and puts on that fucking hat and shrugs his shoulders. He gives me no sense of heart
>>
>>63471010
He's easily got one of the strongest arms in the league. He's up there with Stafford when it comes to arm strength.
Reminds me a lot of Favre with the gunslinger mentality and not being afraid to make big throws others wouldn't dream of doing. But like Favre it leads to a lot of interceptions too.
>>
>>63471139
brandon marshall is a fucking psycho and nothing he does or says should be taken to mean anything

that guy is a fucking lunatic
>>
>>63471255
Marshall has confirmed bipolar disorder or some shit. He's a fucking psycho.
Anytime Marshall opens his mouth it's best to just press mute.
>>
>>63471191
Its almost like to be a quarterback you need some leadership skills.

But yeah, he's probably the best da bears have had, but also the worst.

I dont know if I want to call him main problem though. Lovie's O-line was horrible. Trestman had no defense and everything >>63471096 mentioned. Its one of those things that gets worse when everything around it is also on fire. Like a dumpster fire, that gets picked up by the garbage truck, which gets set on fire also and it drives it to the landfill to set everything on fire. I think Jay's the truck.

I love it.

I LOVE it.

I've been saying this forever. It's the same shit with Romo. They're 2 qbs cut from the same fucking cloth. Every now and then they'll show a flash that convinces people they're worth a shit. They'll put up some impressive stats here, orchestrate a win there, but they're both fucking losers. They will never come up when it matters, they'll always disappoint. They'll do just enough to make you think it's fine or that it'll turn around, but they never ever will.

I love it. Eat the shit, assholes. Gobble it up. Convince yourselves it'll be different. Maybe a different coach! Maybe a new system! It can't be the QB! They can't be shit! Right?

Trestman made Jay Ratliff a captain after he smashed the teams's play clock and shoved an assistant coach to the ground during practice. I'd be shocked if he didn't end up as the worst Bears coach of my lifetime.

Question
If /fit\ jay cutler started under center for da burrs what would be the best strategy to actually win the game?
>>
>>63471411
How do you even explain this?
>>
>>63471393
Yeah, that really is the most blunt way of putting it.

I do think trestman had to go though.
>>
>>63471393
Romo is a fucking elite qb you fucking scrotum mucus eye drop
Cutler's ceiling is being a top 12 qb in the nfl and for good portions of his career he was the worst franchise qb in the nfl
Fucking apples and oranges you fucking unfulfilled piece of shit
10/10 bait I mad

hes like alex smith but good

If he has a good coach
he shines
a mediorce coach?
hes average
a bad coach?
hes average

A lot of people give cutlel flak for being bad and what not but if you watch his games he is literally a good QB under bad systems or bad offensive lines like last year

Brandon Marshall can talk all he wants but the fact is the entire offensive line last year was shit and he underperformed like a motherfucker.
>>
>>63469293

I get the impression Jay doesn't take that seriously, but if he had Brady levels or Rodgers level of preparation, he'd be in the top 3 or 5 NFL QB lists.
>>
>>63471176
>married to a hottie

Like Meatloaf said, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
