This is why its hard for me to get into non-international soccer. There are twenty (significant) national leagues with only 2-3 teams that have all the good players and every other team sucks. If you don't root for the Man U's, Bayerns, Juventus' of the world, you're shit out of luck.
There should be one league where all the talent is...you have to admit, American sports excel at this. The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL are by far the most important leagues of their sports (I gues the KHL is maybe a little closer than any other league but still). All of the talent is concentrated into 30-32 teams in the same league, instead of 2-3 teams in 20 leagues

Most top domestic leagues are just 2-4 elite teams beating up minnows and winning 80% of titles and the only way to become one of the elite teams is to secure large amounts of outside capital since no matter how smartly you run your team you will never compete with the big clubs in the long term.
