agreed, but that's hardly their fault. All throughout history the main theme involved in almost every revolution (or at least every one I can think of) is starvation. People will generally put up with pretty much anything if they're well fed. But once you can't feed your kids, or have to watch your pregnant wife miscarry due to not having enough to eat (times that by millions), something is going to snap.
No Lenin/the bolsheviks wasn't the perfect solution, but you cant really blame them for going down the route. Hindsight is always 20/20
