So many things went wrong this game.
• Midfield has been terrible this past few games. They provide almost nothing on attack and they can't possess the ball well at all. This leads to stale attack and gives opponents significantly more opportunities to attack. Sevilla dominated our midfield and it was really clear in the second half.
• Ramos is our most important defender. When he went out our defenders look like headless chicken. They look so clueless out there.
• Ronaldo needs to be benched. He's not playing with the fire he has always played with. He is also constantly making the wrong decisions and not even making the off-ball runs he is known for. He is useless out there and needs to be benched to re-ignite the fire under his ass.
• Kiko Casilla was horrible today, constantly overplaying balls in the box. No command of the defence as well.
We deserved the loss and hopefully Benitez re-evaluates his tactics. We were dominated and this can't go on if we want to challenge Barcelona (who is playing without Messi as well).

I don't think this has anything to do with Benitez, we saw the same thing under Ancelotti. We play well, but blow it at the crucial moments/against good opposition.

I think Ronaldo needs to be dropped to show that he is replaceable in this team and consistently bad performances will not be tolerated. And if he throws a hissy fit and wants to leave, let him.
