Not shocked, removing any sense of pace in our team in the forms of Theo, Ox and Hector (and to a lesser degree Aaron) and all you need to do is choke out our midfield and you're good.

Santi was smothered all game and rightly got taken off because he was never gonna contribute. Gibbs was great when he came on though, although he was always better going forward than Monreal.

See. in games where chances are few and far between and your striker is pissing away sitters, thats not playing well. Its a big game, you need someone to finish these big chances. We've seen this same thing before and we have to start to holding him accountable.

on paper that only really hard games until January 12 are City and on the 12th Liverpool. Maybe Soton but they are shit this season.
How about those players returning, I'm pretty sure Walcott and Ramsey will be sidelined for longer than the break, probably mid December. Ox will definitely be back and if >we are lucky Bellerin too.The real bulk will return in January and will need another month or two to get anywhere near being useful. By then the league will be over for Arsenal
already since the EL games will kill off any form of depth that returned (for every player that returns one will get injured).

>we didn't have ramsey, bellerin, walcott, ox and many of our players were worn out
spurs were in good form. arsenal was completely outplayed but managed to get a result. that is the sign of a title contender
>>
>>63423771
there are no minor injuries for Arsenal.
>>63423805
I so they all get rested, or at least as many as possible but what will happen is all of them will either start or play some part.Always cursed Ferguson when he declared his players injured for nearly ever useless international break but it worked and Wenger should do the same but he won't start now.

Just because they fuck up doesn't mean we should. We want to win this, not stay close to City.

Alexis has been shit since September desu. Hope he does do much during international break

Coquelin is pretty skilled. His problem is stamina in these kind of games. He is good when arsenal have the majority of the ball and need to cut out a break, or when he plays against a slow paced passing team and arsenal defend deep, but when he faces a high intensity midfield battle he can be found a bit wanting.
>>
>>63424015
how often he is dis-possessed a game.

Shit, my bad. The second point still stands though.

Faggot.

Think everyone may be taking different reference points.

Bad when considered before the match
Good when considering the actual match that happened. i.e. lucky.
Ok in terms of title

Overall somewhere between good and OK based on the main goal which is to win the league

Ozil already being rested
Mert has retired from international football
Kos and Cazorla is unknown though

3rd is the new 4th for Arsenal. Arsenal are due a 2nd place finish anyway.

why are you fags so pessimistic ffs
the previous injuries were recurring ones
these are minor hamstring and calf issues due to not properly warming up. should take 2-3 weeks max
>>
Is this the revival of Gibbs?
>>
>>63424041
>spurs were in good form. arsenal was completely outplayed
What you should be asking yourself is why Arsenal couldn't pick themselves up and actually play well against a team they are better than. At home. If this was away i would have agreed and gladly taken the point but this is at home, when you know your rivals fucked up, with a break and a few reinforcements coming. You win this and the season completely changes. But they choked.
>>
>>63424218
Gibbs the left winger.
>>
>>63424218
Only when he's playing alongside Jack, Ox and Welbz.

Which means never.

I disagree. I think it was a big chance missed. We'll drop points in harder situations, we should be picking these up.

>What you should be asking yourself is why Arsenal couldn't pick themselves up and actually play well against a team they are better than.
they were tired. they had injuries. morale was low after the munich game
>At home. If this was away i would have agreed and gladly taken the point but this is at home, when you know your rivals fucked up, with a break and a few reinforcements coming
look at how bad they were on the pitch. they were utter garbage. but they got a point. city lost 4-1 to this team.
city fucked up at villa in a game that they probably dominated. that is a bigger fuckup by far
>>
>>63424303
They where so fucking bad. They only went loud after the goal and even then they where timid as fuck. Giroud had to try and pump them up at one point.
>>
>>63424197
2-3 weeks off are 2-3 games missed. Games Arsenal has to be winning in order to stay a title contender. The bench is getting shorter as we speak. No new signings, no youth entering the first team, no nothing.
>being pessimistic
I wish it was this easy.

"revival" of ozil if anything
>>
>>63424197
look at the injury table, just look and answer your own question. Wenger already said that the players 'might' be back after the break, that's a little to vague for something that only takes 2-3 weeks to heal. He didn't even mention Walcott btw so make of that what you will.
Small hint it usually means the aforementioned (or even not mentioned) player won't be back any time soon.

Did you watch the game? Tottenham outplayed >us, >we got lucky and it wasn't just because we were shitty, Pochettino has done something to spuds to make them a very good team now. Wtih chelshit dying i think they actually have a v good chance of top 4.

Drawing against a good team after being humped by them and being joint top of the league is at least OK in my books.

both of them are great tacklers and Coquelin's dribbling in close spaces is very very good

He just looks better because he's taller and more imposing
Yaya toure will always look more in control than Santi, that's just fundamental human psychology
>>
>>63424389
>they were tired. they had injuries. morale was low after the munich game
Ok, we all know this but you can only use this as an excuse for so long. Tiredness shouldn't be an excuse, these players are early in the season and all of them have played 3 games in a week a lot, and they have rarely had to so far. They'll be a bit knackered but tis still early enough in the season that that excuse shouldn't fly. Morale shouldn't even be mentioned considering this was the biggest derby the club has. Its all about THIS game.

>city fucked up at villa in a game that they probably dominated. that is a bigger fuckup by far
And thats why a win here would have been so huge. We HAVE to capitalize on these things.
>>
>>63423183
Nothing to do with training methods. You have no idea how this shit works, do you?

>>63423221
Careful, you'll get memers saying he should never play there.

He has been shit this season, it's all been about Ozil. I don't know what's gone wrong. He did good stuff with Ozil in the first half, but he's gone AWOL with goals.

>>63423231
Don't think so. I just think he's been singled out as a key part of Arsenal and shit is worked out to deal with him. I also think he's knackered and needs a rest. Wenger should drop him for next game.

>light years ahead
>nobody gave a shit till he became GOAT cause Debuchy got injured for ages
>Coq
>nobody gave a shit about till he stood in for injured players

Fucking fickle fan base. Ramsey shouldn't be on the right.

I say play Debuchy as RB and Bellerin as RW. This means that Bellerin can come back to support Debuchy, but can use his pace for offensive reasons more often. Right wing has no pace, so Bellerin would solve that. Also, Wenger needs a top top striker, pref one with speed. He needs to sort Sanchez out too, what the fuck has gone wrong.

If Arsenal had a fully fit team, they'd be amazing, but they don't. There are no good back-up strikers either.

The board wont allow Wenger to sign a £40m+ player unless they're under 24. This has been the case since they started the stadium being built. In fact, they won't allow £20m or more be spent on a player under 24. They want re-sale value. Wenger is constantly throttled by the board,, which is why he signs Youths in the hope they come GOAT and he can sell them for profit.

People call Sperms the Jews, but the Arsenal board is worse. It also doesn't help that websites and boards like this go

>HUR DUR £43m OZIL IS SHIT

Despite his stats saying otherwise.

>HUR DUR STATS
>2015
>MEANING ANYTHING

arsenal should start doing blood spinning, creatine
even microdosing epo and cycling roids offseason is very difficult to catch

they are joint top with easier fixtures coming up
