The system we use is literally "wait for waiver period to pass before you claim anyone, otherwise you move to the bottom." You are rewarded for being up at 2 AM and not for actually being good or smart with your waivers.

Usually people draft handcuffs just hoping they do well if their stud gets hurt. This was a case of a handcuff literally getting 2 starts in the season and showing that he would be a stud if Bell went down, which amazingly is just what happened

It does kinda seem like Brees has been let down by Cooks and Coleman so he's turning to the old reliables in Colston and Watson, but idk how long it'll last at a high or consistent level.
