Post ITT if you support a team that is utterly, inarguably, embarrassingly shit tier
it's a constant excitement-disappointment cycle
First year in existence, utterly shit tier. Bottom 1/3rd of the 3rd division in the USA. They'll get better though.
my local team went bankrupt ;_;
>>63386422
Always had a soft spot for Crewe, no idea why
>>63388021
Why didn't you stop it?
>>63386422
They have their moments but its usually short lived. It was good when Aaron Rodgers and Marshawn Lynch were together though.
>>63386422
>supporting crewe
ISHYGDDT
even though they have had a decent season thus far, they are entirely shit tier
>>63390654
Really? Family is from there, still have my shirt somewhere
right here
Real Sociedad counts, I guess.
>>63392177
>>63386422
And by right here I mean I support Crewe Alexandra
>>63386422

>>63388021
Beira-mar? Naval?
Any soccer team = shit tier because soccer=shit sport
>>63392981
Wow! Creative!
>>63386422
Is your academy still decent?
Fucking president said that respect is gonna be back.
He lied to us ;-;
>>63386422
Stop and think for a moment, how monumentally shit OP's team is and how it must feel to support them.
Then imagine how it must have felt to lose to that team last weekend.
We are the eternal Liverpool or the England of League One, I can't decide which.
>>63393003
Shrink the field, put walls on the out of bounds lines so the balls always in play, remove half the the ass holes on the field and you may have something worth watching.
Soccer is literally more boring than baseball which is sad.
>>63393445
>Anything in the world more boring than baseball
Likely story
>>63386422
>>63393540
If I wanted to watch a group of men struggle to score for 90 minutes I'd just take you and your mates to the bar.
>>63393699
If I wanted to eat shite food while absolutely nothing happened for 3 hours I would just move into your mums basement
>>63388246
Sup fellow Berkeley bro, I'm standing on Shattuck right now
>>63393855
Which is why I have my own place
>>63393445

>>63393938
Right football is but soccer blows
>>63394000
>He calls his armored rugby """""right""""" football
Three loins on the skirt~
>>63394031
And he's right about it
>>63393445

Jurgen supports England
Learnt from all those wars you lost I suppose
>American "Sports"
>>63394173
Germans have always supported England. Unfortunately you didn't let us save you from yourselves and now the entire western civilisation is fucked beyond repair.
Thanks, Churchill.
c-c'mon you O's
>>63386422
>>63394255
>Implying any other sports are worth watching
I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan
>>63394301
But Chad, the only relevant, worthwhile to watch sport is football (soccer)
>>63394373
Gay as fuck players who cry at every opportunity. 1-0 insurmountable lead. Watch a bunch of pansy based fuckers run around for 3 hours doing nothing but running.
>Sure it's totally worth watching
>>63394414
Oh and the ability to Fucking tie. GTFO
>>63394414
>>63394451
Two of the most American posts I have ever seen.
>>63394531
Damn straight
>>63394531
If you wanna make soccer worth anything make the field the size of a basketball court with walls, no out of bounds make it like 4 or 5 guys and the goalie and there you go.
>>63394622
that's what we do when we're like 8. then we expand.
>>63394802
The expansion makes it to wide, slow and boring as hell.
>>63394830
>The expansion makes it to wide, slow and boring as hell.
too wide? i don't understand. slow? pace increases with age. boring as hell? no.
>>63394896
The field is to big, it's one of the main problems with soccer. If you make the field smaller I promise you the pace would increase too.
>>63394938
>i promise
wow really
sounds like you'd like futsal.
>>63394963
Futsal?
>>63394963
Just Googled it. Sounds intersting
>>63394989
futsal
>>63395053
Now that looks cool it's like hockey with your feet
Reporting.
Although based /Earnie/ might make us not complete shit next season
>americans being anti-soccer just to be contrarian to what other people in the world like
jesus christ my society fucking sucks
>>63395285
Americans hate soccer because it is honestly boring not to be contrary.
>>63395366
but american sports are just as boring because 50-75% of broadcast time is spent on commercials, continuous play will always be more interesting than a switch to health insurance or a car dealer every 5, plus american sports fool you into thinking something is happening because your're basically forced to score and play in a very linear way
h-haway the lads 2bh
neat to see Yedlin play even if its only a loan spell
>>63395465
>Forced to score
Just no. The only sport where this happens is basket ball. Soccer is also linear as fuck. Hell all sports are. The literal objective of every sport is get the the thing in the thing. What makes American sports great is there a lot of it, and just because you build a nice lead doesn't mean you're safe. The other team can get on a roll and make a huge comeback. In soccer it's literally the boring part of hockey without the scores. Hell you get up by 2 the game may as well be called.
third league
>>63395655
>soccer is linear as fuck
just showed that you have literally no idea what you are talking about
It's our year lads
>>63395655
>Hell you get up by 2 the game may as well be called.
>he doesn't know which lead is the most dangerous lead
>>63386422
>>63393204
The Blades! Holy shit, the first time I played the original Championship Manager I chose to manage them in the Premiership. I didn't know how shit they were, Brian Deane being the only decent player I had in the squad.
>>63394622
If we want to make football worth anything, we should not change anything as its already the most popular sport in the world.
The only improvement to make would be to stop Americans from "improving" it.
No one of you lads can understand my pain
>>63386422
Manager is finally getting the sack though, so that's some good news
>Won 1 in >our last 8 games, which included fixtures against Watford, Hull, Stoke and Norwich
>Could only draw with Advocaat's Sunderland abd Chelsea
>>63396547
What year was that, 97/98? Deano's a legend but we've had him 3 seperate times.
I remember a young Jagielka being at Sheff United on Champ and being indescribably shit for years for some reason.
>>63396680
Around '95. I can't remember the name of a single player besides him.
I remember thinking to myself: I'll choose a Premiership team that isn't top tier like Man U, so I'll go second-tier and I chose the Blades.
That's how little I knew about the Premiership back then.
>>63396762
He left us in '93 for Leeds United, like every other great player we've had
>>63396839
All I know about Sheffield is Wednesday, United, and how you got rocked in Threads.
>>63396577
Popular =/= good
>>63388246
First game for me was desean and his rape of Tennessee, it's been gradually downhill since then.
Even worse is how cal players have had decent success in the nfl, showing how unabashedly shit they were at utilizing their talent
>>63396642
Updated version.
I support the shittest team in the world, Aston Villa
