What I think is more shocking is that the boards are still treating them like a proper big test nation. They got more matches against you guys and England than we did.
What I think they should do for some of the associate nations is make at least one FC fixture part of every tour they do. It could be a full mock-test against a country's almost full-strength side, or a match against a domestic side. Like Ireland touring SA and Aus next year should play against the domestic teams as a first class game.
I feel half the reason they're hesitant to raise anyone is because it would be such a jump from doing fuck all to playing lots of tests, if they play 4 day games regularly then it won't be too bad.
