Just last year he had to overcome two 14 point deficits against the Ravens and a 10 point deficit in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl. Manning only ever did that once against the Patriots in 2006. Man, it's had to tell. Brady is certainly part of a great system with a great coach. Most of his passes are checkdowns, and almost all of the plays are products of a really great, complex offensive system.
That being said, he performs the system well. I don't think you can just dismiss him as being only that. Brady isn't just a game manager. No one, other than young Kobe and MJ, has more of a champion heart. Brady is a hungry motherfucker, and I don't see that drive out of anyone else in the NFL.
