Name me a better WR corps/QB/RB combo than this one in history

ProTip: There isn't one
>>
In history? You pleb, let me expand your horizons

>Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Jake Reed
>Torry Holy, Isaac Bruce, Ricky Proehl
>Art Monk, Gary Clark, Ricky Sanders
>Charlie Joiner, John Jefferson/Wes Chandler, Kellen Winslow (I know he's a TE, but lets be honest, he was what Jimmy Graham is now)
>Mark Clayton, Mark Duper, Nat Moore
>Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth

I can go on and on, Brown might be the best WR in the NFL, but Wheaton and Bryant are still mostly one trick ponies

Frank Ryan, Jim brown, Paul warfield check mate

>no jim kelly/andre reed/james lofton/thurman thomas
that's a better lineup than every team on your list except maybe san deigo
also
>donte stallworth
wanna know how i know you're a patriots fan?

>Ben Roethlisberger
>good

pick one
>>
>>64401961
Brian Brennan Webster slaughter and Ozzie newsome
>>
>>64404826
lol I'm not, I'm a Giants fan but I have few memories of Stallworth playing well as a third receiver
>>
>>64404878
and Moss&Welker were beasts from 07/09, can't deny that, I was just having hard time putting a third guy there
>>
>>64401961
Josh Gordon is better than all of them
>>
Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokley
>>
>>64404878
he was alright, but acting like he makes moss and welker equivalent to those other combos (especially when they didn't have a great running back) is silly
>>64404888
they were, but this is about greats QB/RB/WR corps combos, not great QB/WR/WR combos
>>64404898
Peyton/Harrison/Wayne/James is another great one
>>
If TEs count Rivers/Gates/LT
>>
>>64401961
Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Charlie Garner, Rich Gannon
>>
>>64404824
Most underrated group ever, but perhaps the greatest
>>
>>64404907
well if we're talking QB/RB/WR I'd say Peyton&co is obviously one of the best, but:

>Montana/Craig/Rice/Taylor
>Aikman/Smith/Irvin/Harper
>Warner/Faulk/Bruce/Holt (you could argue a HOF case for all of them)

Btw am I the only one who thinks that the 70s steelers offensive guys like Bradshaw and Swann are overhyped af? I mean Franco and Stallworth I get them, but imo Bradshaw and Swann are more famous for few exceptional plays than true overall career production (sure 4 super bowls, but we all know it was the defense that carried the team, 74&75 for certain)
>>
>>64401961
Joe Flacco/Torrey Smith/Anquan Boldin/Ray Rice are better than these fags. They actually won an owl, something this group will never do
>>
>>64405002
Good one my sides are fucking killing me
>>
>>64401961
Ozzie newsom, Burnie kosar, Brian Brennan
>>
>>64405029
Oh forgot Kevin mack
>>
>>64404990
Swann is overrated as all hell but I think Bradshaw doesn't get enough credit.

idk man, I don't find his stats impressive, but I think people should give him more credit for 78&79 seasons, because it was then him and not the defense that carried the team
>>
>>64404990

Implying I meant that they will ever win one, that group you mentioned is at the bottom of any group ever, fuck man, the Crowell, Manziel, BARNIDGE, Benjamin group is better
>>
>>64405091
Bradshaw and Stabler never had huge stats but they always came up big when the game was on the line
>>
>>64405099
Frank Ryan better than all of them
>>
>>64405099
Prime Holt was better than either prime Harrison or Wayne. Holt is criminally underrated.
>>
I think that Arizona has a pretty dominant one with 3 good receivers and 3 good RB.

My all time favorite was Gates, LT, and Rivers though.
>>
Also, special mention to Manning, Harrison, Wayne, Edge too

I'm just saying that the group he mentioned wasn't that good
>>
>>64405195
BARNIDGE is easily one of the best TE this year
>>
>>64405135
exactly, Holt was as good as Owens, Harrison and Moss in the 2000s

Best quarter back interception percentage go this is Burnie kosar, prove it with stats
>>
Also, if Latavius Murray becomes more consistent, Carr, Cooper, Crabtree and Murray is a good one.
>>
>>64405248
Im a life-long Rams fan and I'd have to disagree.
>>
>>64405259
why?
>>
>>64405248
As good as Harrison, but not Owens and sure as hell not Moss
>>
'99 Rams had the positional balance that everyone else ITT is fucking ignoring as a factor.

Ben/Bell/Brown/Bryant/Wheaton are comparable to Warner/Faulk/Holt/Bruce IMO
>>
>>64405288
Owens > Moss dude

>>64405325
don't ever compare Bryant, Bell and Wheaton to Faulk, Holt or Bruce
>>
>>64405288
Not Owens? speaking stats Owens is every bit as good as Harrison if not better, also considering that Harrison had Manning and Owens had Geff Jarcia, Monovan DcNabb, Rony Tono and Erent Tdwards as QB i'd say Owens was more impressive, but a lot worse of a personality
>>
>>64404907
Donte Stallworth was better and more accomplished during the '07 season than Wheaton is now. Markus Wheaton is not that good, he's just had a decent stretch the last 4 games, starting with SEA where he had his only exceptional game of his career.
>>
>>64405248
best 6-year stretches for each one:

>Harrison (1999-2003)
79 games, 563 receptions, 7594 yards, 62 TDs
>Owens (2000-2004)
73 games, 447 receptions, 6465 yards, 65 TDs
>Holt (2001-2005)
78 games, 485 receptions, 7064 yards, 42 TDs
>Moss (1999-2003)
80 games, 456 receptions, 7062 yards, 60 TDs

pic is how they all performed during holt's "peak"
>>
>>64405467
obviously Harrison was the best, but Holt with the exception of TDs beat Owens and Moss in yards and catches, you can't deny he wasn't one of the top receivers in the 2000s
>>
>>64405528
>>64405467
Stat nerds baka
>>
>>64405528
he was definitely one of the top receivers of the 2000s, those 4 were the gold standard for many years
i just think it's funny that>>64405135 this dingus thinks holt>harrison
people underrate the fuck of marvin harrison because muh peyton, but he's pretty much unmatched during his peak by anyone but rice, and even though he had two hall of fame QBs we don't underrate him
>>64405544
>muh eye test
die
>>
Russell Wilson/Marshawn Lynch/Doug Baldwin and it's not even close senpai

this better be bait, or you're either from Pittsburgh or retarded. Oh, wait...
>>
>>64405397
I was saying that Owens was clearly better than Harrison and Holt.
>>
>>64405354
Owens was nowhere near as physically gifted as Moss, and had even more problems. When Moss was unhappy, he stopped playing. When Owens was unhappy, he does situps in his driveway and called out his entire team in addition to not playing with effort.

Greatest shown on turf with Warner, Holt, Bruce, Proehl, and Faulk was better. It is a complete shame that team never won the owl with how great that offense was.
>>
>>64405091
>that rookie season
How the fuck did he keep his job after that
>>
>>64407311

what is 1999

>Faulk with 2439 yards from scrimmage godDAMN
>>
Brunnel \ Smith or McCardell \ Taylor
>>
>>64401961

>Jimmy Smith/Keenan McCardell/Mark Brunell/Fred Taylor

That's two +800 reception, +11,000 yard receivers, a pretty decent 3 time Pro Bowl QB, and an +11,000 yard rusher

and I can still come up with a better combo than them
>>
>>64401961
90's bills O
Kelly, Thompson, Reed, Beebe
>>
>>64401961
>Gannon
>Jerry Rice
>Tim Brown
>Charlie Garner
Stop posting anytime
>>
>>64404852
If someone throws for 400+ yards and the team loses I don't think it is typically the offense that gets the blame for that. Just saying. Not a stillers fan, but not someone who is gonna jump on the hatewagon for no reason. Ben has a lot of faults, but the dude has a howitzer for an arm and will throw deep and accurate all fucking game to some of the best receivers in the game right now.

Just don't go to a bathroom alone with him.

>>
>>64401961
Warner/Faulk/Holt/Bruce/Hakim
Manning/James/Harrison/Wayne/Stokley

Even this year, Palmer/Johnson/Fitzgerald/Brown/Floyd has to be in consideration
