The Pats have played a relatively soft scheduled. Still, when they played half-decent teams either they lost or struggled. The Jets scared the hell out of them. The Giants didn't beat them by a hair. The Broncos with a back-up QB having his second ever NFL start beat them. And then... the lowly Eagles, one of the league's most dysfunctional teams, beat them in Foxboro!

Yeah, yeah, they are missing Gronk and Edelman. But many other teams are also missing essential players.

The Panthers, for example, have been missing Kelvin Benjamin *the entire season,* not just for the last two games. The Broncos got their star QB badly injured to the point he couldn't perform. The Steelers had Ben in and out several times, and the Cowboys have Romo out. Other teams have more to regret in the matter of missing players, than the Pats, so put down the excuses. Giving away 14 points to the Eagles in plays involving special teams has nothing to do with Gronk and Edelman. And even BB's coaching decisions were iffy.

So, are we seeing proof that the Pats are not that great? They now sit in third place in the AFC and if this persists, they'd have to play a wild card game, and would have to be on the road after that. And hopes that they'll get healthy might be a bit misguided because the final stretch of a season is usually when injuries accumulate, not when they heal. All teams have to deal with injuries in the last stretch because the NFL season is taxing on players.

Are the Pats' wheels coming off?

Guess I proved my point.

no, they just had some bad games. its really hard to play all 16 games at the highest level. even if they end up in third place at the end of the regular season, they will still be a serious contender in the playoffs.

The Broncos are missing the worst QB in the league, stop with this asinine shit.

Peyton Manning, whether because of his injury or no, played terrible. He deserved to be benched because he was actively making the Broncos worse.

The Patriots lost to the Broncos down all four main receivers, in overtime, on the road, with a practice squader taking punt returns in the snow.

This against a Broncos team that upgraded from the literal worst QB in the league, who posted a 0.00 passer rating on his last game before being benched.

The Steelers dropped games because Big Ben was out, the Cowboys were 0-7 with Romo gone. I don't see your point. Would they have a better record with those players in? Definitely, but so would the Patriots.

They are going to fucking blow the texans teh fuck out

i don't give a fuck if the texans d is good bellichik is a fucking genius and will come up with some shit

and brady is a genius who will perfectly carry out those plans and execute them

he will throw for something crazy like 450 yrds and 5 touchdown passes with a QB rating of like 126

>soft schedule

that's putting it lightly. they got the castrated versions of any good team. no bell or bryant and then no romo or dez off the top of my head

broncos had more pro bowlers missing

Daily reminder that the Pats are the defending champs and will remain the defending champs unless/until they lose in the playoffs. It's easy to talk smack now in the middle of an injury filled season with all their weapons gone, but we will see who is still standing after Super Bowl 50. That's all that matters.

Why are Methanapolis faggots so obsessed with the Patriots? Is it the constant beatings?

>it's was snowing

peyton has been pure trash since the latter half of last season. the broncos fans calling him elite and whining about how they lost their mvp quarterback are idiots and think they are entitled to prime peyton every year even though his decline has been evident for a while now.
the steelers dropped games.
the panthers have an elite run game to fall back on when cam isnt being le epic black mvp man. their defense is legit yes, and i think they are legit as well, but they havent done anything noteworthy in the playoffs in forever so until that changes they can continue being overrated memers.
the jets and giants (almost) always play the pats close. judging a team by how they win division games is pretty silly. even when the jets were pure trash they fought tooth and nail to ruin the patriots record. and the giants are the pats kryptonite but still lost at home.
yes they are missing weapons and the oline is pure trash. the injuries kept adding up and up week by week so the offensive and defensive schemes had to change every time so some slippage is expected.
but come playoff time who would you place you trust in if not the pats? the ravens arent in the playoffs and they are the only team that can really say they scare playoff pats. andy one and done dalton hasnt proved anything in the post season even if the regular season has been easy for him. the broncos benefited from questionable calls all game and were at home. brock is unproven in the playoffs. if peyton plays for some reason even better. ill take the pats against playoff peyton in the cold on a road game or in any stadium any time. the colts are a meme. everyone else is fodder.
i don't think a repeat is guaranteed but everyone writing off the pats at this time of year when they are 10-2 with a huge number of injuries that will be mostly ok come playoff time it just seems ridiculous. if they lose to the texans then it will be for sure time to panic and start throwing around 'exposed'.

Honestly surprised they've done as well as they have given their injuries.

Wendell missed first 6 games, played in 2, and went on IR
Solder on IR after week 4
Stork missed the first 8 games of the year
Cannon missed 4 games with a foot injury

Thats 4 starters from the offensive line who have missed significant time. Then you have the injuries to Edelman who will miss the reminder of the regular season, Lewis went on IR, Amendola missed a game, Gronk missed OT in Denver and this past week against the Eagles. In the Denver loss, Brady was throwing to Martin, Chandler and LaFell[to the ground] during the 4th quarter comeback and OT. And then last week the punt team gave up 2 scores. Kind of obscure circumstances on both occasions.

And on defense, Collins missed more than a month of some kind of cancerous illness, Sheard missed 4 games, Hightower has been out for the last couple games.

But the thing is the Patriots are going to get healthier by the time the playoffs roll around, so they'll be back to being the Patriots.

Of course they can, but Californian punt return practice squader can't.

The calls people are talking about were all borderline, there's nothing anyone can do if they do or don't go your way.

Patriots offensive line is awful. Watt is literally going to murder Brody

these arent the pats
