Just wondering, is anyone up for casual collabs to help each other get better as musicians? I'm thinking:

I think it'd be nice to have that support for musicians, but on a board that isn't diluted with shitposters who are insecure about their tastes. During the past year, I've noticed that /soc/ is very supportive compared to /mu/ when it comes to musicianship. It'd be a nice way to improve imo, especially for those of us who have trouble socializing irl, like me.
I'll try to post up a jazz backline/basis and then play over it. Of course, I think you should make your own or request stuff if you're not into the stuff that's posted.
I'm using MuseScore, which has some nice built-in midi instruments, and it's all free. I def recommend it for transcribing and composing.
The only issue is that complex drum transcriptions can be a bitch to write because the system doesn't support it as well as other multi-voice instruments.
I'll be working on my shit. Hope yall musicians are on board.

Yeah man TBLA is my favorite emo band, hard pressed to find a similar band with that much creativity, glad you like them!
I'd listen to some of your stuff but I'm already pretty much familiar with all those bands, Neck Deep is pretty good even though I haven't really given them a chance.
I'm pretty pleb when it comes to jazz but when I heard Bitches Brew for the first time it was fucking incredible, I'll check Django out, gonna anymore jazz recs?
