I'll start.
I'm really big into superhero shit, and since Batman was my childhood hero, The Dark Knight ends up in my top 3 movies by default. I really love Terry Pratchett, H.P. Lovecraft, Robert J. Sawyer, and James A. Moore.
I love philosophy, but have no patience for learning it academically; I just learn the principles as a hobby, think and write a bit about them, and debate at parties. Yes, I am THAT guy.
I'm pretty liberal, but like to think I'm more centre-left. The government should serve the will of the majority, protect the minority from being unfairly victimized, keep society safe and running, and then stay the fuck out of everyone's personal lives outside of serious threats to objectives. I was a douchey know-it-all atheist in high school, but grew into a slightly-pretentious but knowingly-fallible agnostic.
I'm Canadian, hence the Unamerican spelling. I wore sweatpants all through school and into university, then ditched them to wear suits every single day off. I am entirely aware I am a ridiculous man.

I live in Mexico, I'm into superhero stuff Top Hero: Spider-Man [childhood intensifies]. Repairing PCs is my hobbie and my favorite job until now. I am Catholic but i have some questions about religion and stuff. I like to read, but i not really into it; just Conan Doyle, Stephen King and George Orwell. Huge Eagles fan, love watching sports.

Favorite movie as of recent is definitely the Revenant. Amazing movie. Fairly long but does a great job at keeping the viewers attention the entire time. Highly suggest anyone who hasn't scene it to definitely see it soon.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights has been a long-time favorite movie of mine (probably have seen that a couple times in other threads). When it comes to books, I shoot for the Hans Wehr Arabic-English dictionary. Main reason is "wat wat indabut" literally means "Bat of Discipline", and that is special to me. For American comics, I enjoy Deadpool. Not much of a TV watcher, so, my favorite vidya is Final Fantasy VIII. For, uh, various reasons.

I'm really into movies! Specifically horror movies. Ugggh, one of my favorite things to do is binge on them. Three of my favorite movies of all time are Seven Samurai, Oldboy, and The Thing.
I'm also really into music. I can play a few instruments and it's something I really enjoy doing. Specifically guitar. Playing is very cathartic for me.
Some favorite bands:
Converge, Mogwai, Orchid, Bloc Party, Death Grips, Madvillain and MF Doom's/Madlib's solo stuff, Badbrains, Deafheaven, Smashing Pumpkins, and RHCP were incredibly important to me growing up

I live in Wisconsin. I already said it, but I'm into music, filmmaking, and photography. I've been a part of the same smallish friend group for a while. We're all very close. I work at a dentist office as a janitor pretty much. They have these really nice rolly chairs there with huge ass empty hallways. I swear I can get those things going to like 20 miles an hour when I'm bored. I try to be as nice to everyone as I can if they are not blatant assholes. I have pretty bad GAD and depression, but I try to not let it affect those around me. It was A LOT rougher when I was in my early teens. It can still be hard, but it's getting better. I'm also an insomniac. Whenever people hang out with me over an extended amount of time, their sleep schedule gets really fucked up, haha. However, because of my insomnia, I decided to take my courses online, hence why I am here as much as I am.

My favorite movie's probably Silence of the Lambs, and my favorite book's A Clockwork Orange. Comics I like are mostly Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. I play a lot of Smash Bros., but that's about the only mainstream game I play (more into the Oddworld games, late '90s PS1 stuff, etc.)
I live in a decent part of New Jersey, fairly near a shitty part of New Jersey. Hobbies, probably photography and filmmaking, and editing for both. Graphic design's pretty fun too.
I'm irreligious. I don't like labels and I don't like calling attention to shit I don't like (christianity, islam, people who self-victimize). Moral stance is difficult to put into words, but I agree with the principles of capitalism while pirating video games at the same time, so I don't really practice what I preach.

I'm an intern at a startup company, working as a software developer for our flagship product. I'm about 2 months off from a formal job offer. I dropped out of college as a senior, where I was studying math/cs. I'm working on three specialization tracks on coursera, each related to data science. I get a lot of support from my parents, who bought me half a car while I was in school (I paid the other half) and they're likely to match my contribution to a down payment on a house I'm looking to buy in a few months.
