risperidone does help with motivation, however i found that the sudden increase of serotonin with the zoloft helps most with motivation. anti-psychotics tend to just make everything a lot more clear. even if it was just the placebo effect it still seems very positive. yes, you're right, suddenly stopping anti-psychotics and ssris are NOT good. definitely need to taper them off. maybe try a different anti-psychotic if the side effects were too much? zoloft doesn't cause random stomach pain as far as i know. are you certain that your stomach pain was directly related to the new medication you were taking or was it just anxiety? forgive me if that sounded accusatory btw

I don't mind the exposition of C&P, I think what really sells me on the book as a whole is the constant inner dialogue Raskolnikov is having with himself and how he juts back and forth between extremes. I haven't read anything else of his, I generally don't like novels, at least not many of the ones I've read in the past. I don't think it's a problem with the material for the most part, just with how it's taught.

I had heard about Dune through that documentary Jodorowsky's Dune, which I haven't seen but have heard is fantastic. May as well check out the book before watching it then.
I'm normally not really into radical black ideology type stuff (or radical any type of ideology stuff for that matter), but I'll give Defying the Tomb a shot on your rec. I normally check out books from my university's library so I doubt I'll be able to get a hold of it any time soon, but I'll keep it in mind.

It's really more of an analysis on American culture and Capitalism than it is radical ideology, the book sites it's self with other books on warfare, economics, philosophy etc. so it's like a list of what books to read next, the rec fits within the context of that Vince track, if you ever come across it i highly recommend it.
Although he does talk about the death of police officers quite a lot.
