Hey /soc/! I've been on 4chan a while now. You guys have been good friends and even family to me at times when my own has been downright cruel and hateful. This holiday season is no different...they're going out of their way to make me miserable. So fuck em. I spent a little cash on you guys instead.
I'm going to give away a few games that I have, from various humble bundles (and the most recent) as well as maybe a game or two on sale. I'm not rich...hell, I'm not even middle-class. But I can spare a few bucks to cheer up a few other people. If anyone else wants to join in and donate, that would be swell too. If not, I'm happy to be the /soc/ Santa. I've previously done Christmas giveaways on /b/ and /v/ (that last one was a mistake).
If you can, post a picture of something festive. Maybe your Christmas lights, or you wearing a Santa hat. Or maybe a picture of yourself, holding up a piece of paper wishing my son, Jack, a Merry Christmas. Just anything to get us in the spirit.
My next post will have info on what I'm giving away and how to get it.

Want one of the games below? Post your Steam profile link, requested game, and something festive. Anything. Or send out some positive vibes for my son. Doing everything I can to make sure he has a Merry Christmas, despite having a dysfunctional family, with a mother and grandmother trying to ruin it.

Thanks! I saved up for months to give him a good Christmas. He's an amazing kid...a real prodigy. He's 5 years old, and he plays games like Minecraft and Portal, reads at a 3rd grade level, and is super sweet and kind. He said that for Christmas, he wants a Portal gun. So I saved up and I bought him a life-sized replica of one, a Minecraft backpack, lots of Legos, a bluetooth speaker with a light show disco ball on top, the Popcap collection on Steam, and some other assorted toys. I want him to have the type of Christmas I never did...

I've tried /v/. Everyone was rude and ungrateful. One guy specifically got the game and added it to his library, informing me he'd never play it but didn't want anyone else to have it and that I should try giving away games people wanted to play ($50+ AAA titles).
