What are your thoughts on camera modes such as Samsung's

What are your thoughts on camera modes such as Samsung's

What are your thoughts on camera modes such as Samsung's beautyface?

Do they make photos look worse? better but obviously edited? Do you think photos would be better off without them?

Not my pic btw, but this is a comparison between natural and beauty face.

From S5 and above, you can no longer select a "default" mode for frontal camera so all pics taken will be in beautyface by default
