It's very stimulating, the office is chill and friendly, they are pretty tolerant with newcomers and let you all the time to socialize and introduce yourself in the new job situation. So, no one breathing down your neck, BUT, when you are comfy with the team, you must be 102% productive no matter what. Also, you have to find yourself your projects. Peek around in other people's business it's an olimpic sport here. You can propose yourself with your ideas if you think they fit with the project, so there is always a competition to join "that team or another" because it means your work is good. Also someone could come at your desk and ask you if you can do something for his project. There is only one mandatory thing you should do here, keep expanding your skill outside your main field to not rely on engineers even for the simplest things.
