Well I'm into a lot of different genres, and language in both English and Afrikaans. So I'll sort it by language and genre

Melodic Rock: Aking (All they're albums are good. Especially Morning After and Dutch Courage. Very consistent style)

Rap: Jack Parow (Probably one of the most unique rappers ever, can't recommend anything specific because of this) and Bittereinder (Kind of a silly group, not to be taken too seriously. Check out their music videos for "Kwaad Naas" and "Die Dikdansmasjien"
Rock: Fokofpolisiekar (All their shit is absolutely amazing but if I had to recommend one or two songs it would be "Brand Suid-Africa" or "Antibiotika") and the Van Coke Kartel (again, all their shit is absolutely amazing, but if I had to recommend one song it would be "Die Dag")
Metal: Check out the band K.O.B.U.S! (Anything by these guys is an 11 on the metal scale. Just go for it, listen to whatever.)
Electronic: Die Heuwals Fantasties (Check out their self titled first album. Especially the tracks "Oorlewing 101" in Afrikaans and "Way to go Ft. Thieve" or "Our Heritage" In English.
