I am very undecided. Everytime i start thinking about this topic, i get lost in a spiral of overthinking that gets more complicated by the second but i recently came to a fairly easy solution to put this matter to rest for a while, might sound retarded to some, but i think, that the core issue of the topic, wich is weither or not a "consciousness" that strifed for order at some point created the cosmos or what we can "measure" as existence at the moment or weither it would be more a natural force that is in of itself chaotic. (Here we run into the first problem, since "natural phenomenons" follow patterns and orders as well, even though they can get very complicated or abstract, to put a line down in the sand between natural force or consciousness originating from a creature/organism/ "lifeform" might not be so easy, considering that we only know species from cont

My core thought would be, that, purely judging from the only planet we know of really and understand the life on, the system of conscious beings (food chains, constantly evolving, changing species, dying out and dominating each other) suggests that there is a strive for ascension. Humans have rapidly ascendet over a few thousand years, so i think at one point, another, very sentient, dominant species somewhere in existence ascendet to the highest point possible, trough technology, purely physical and mental evolution or an uccurence that closed the circle between the underlying, curious drive for ascension from the species and the goal, the core motivation behind the ascension, wich could be finding the "creator" of the current universe or finding a way to create existence on their own aka. becoming gods themself. When they reach that point, they take over the role as a creator and make their own universe. So i could somehow imagine a devine creator being not a unique being but just one of a species that overcame their "mortal chains" and somewhere in the future, humans or some other sentient species reach the same level and the cycle repeats.
The whole reason for that would be just to keep equilibrium between nothingness and existence trough the most basic principle of motion, struggle, death and birth.
TLDR: I believe that, if there is a god, it might actually be just one out of a species of an ascendet race that created own universes trough technology
