I'm a serial luggage thief. I steal luggage from airports. I usually do it atleast once a month. It's incredibly easy to get away with. I've never been caught. I'm within two hours of 3 major airports. I've stolen from all of them multiple times.
I haven't paid for clothes or toothpaste for years, and I've made a fair amount of cash doing this.
It's so easy. What you have to do is dress very plainly. Flat black shirt, blue jeans, plain shoes, sometimes a big hoodie to conceal my body size. Find out when there are a bunch of flights arriving at once and then go and stand near baggage claim or where people are meeting people coming from the flight. Once people start rushing the baggage carousel, just blend in and walk over to them with everyone else.
Then, I pick the plainest looking bag that I can find. There are a tremendous number that are the kind with the extendable handles and rolling wheels usually in just plain black or red. I pick the plainest of the plainest that look like all the others and just grab it and walk out.
Even if someone might be suspicious that it is their bag, the fact that the bag is entirely plain leaves enough benefit of a doubt for them not to say anything before continuing to look for their bag. No one has ever said anything to me, ever. Never gotten a call. Never a single word.
