My skin used to get oily, but a combination of changing my diet and not washing my face with soaps anymore actually fixed it. It's not something a lot of people are willing to try because it sounds unusual and like a crazy person's idea, but I've been using oil cleansing instead of normal washing for my face. I purchased some quality extra virgin olive oil (I like Bragg), throw in a few drops of tea tree oil and it's helped not only my oily skin, but I've been breaking out way less. If I do get a pimple, it's so small it's almost unnoticeable.
Another plus is I've noticed my pores appear tighter now.
Olive oil is apparently very close to the natural oils of our skin and instead of stripping everything from your face like you would with most harsh soaps and your body trying to overproduce oil, it seems to chill out. You'd think your skin would be greasy putting oil on your face, but the olive oil absorbs into your skin fast. It also has vitamin E in it, which is always good for your skin.
Another thing that might help you is purchasing some green french clay and making yourself a mask once a week. I put dried, powdered rosemary and mint from my garden, but just the clay might work wonders for helping you with your acne and pores and blackheads if those are an issue for you, too.
