Jesus people get some confidence. Not that it's easy, and you have your own obstacles to overcome, but that is probably the most attractive quality for anybody. Believe it or not it doesn't always start with whether you are completely physically attractive. And yes, we live in a world now where the "accepted" acctrative qualities are thrown in our face and can blind people to think that only that is attractive. Especially online and on boards and posts like this. What are you putting out there when you post besides your face? Nothing. And if you loathe around about it you lose all your confidence. If suggest leaving these types of boards, getting out and doing SOMETHING at least, and letting life fall into place. You'd be surprised at what may come. I know it would end up bothering me immensely, so I don't even try. Although I honestly don't know how ugly I am it's just I'm a fat woman and that automatically makes you a 4 at the absolute most lel.
Anyway, don't let those threads bother you too much. Many of the people in ratings threads are caked in makeup, fixed up their hair, know how to work a camera and take shots at the most flattering angles. Most of us here are taking terrible photos in bad lighting and making goofy faces.

As for rating threads, people tend to focus on the negative comments they receive way, way more than the positive ones. I'm on meds for anxiety and the difference is incredible. Like I probably think about my life as pre-diagnosis and post-diagnosis. But I'm also very lucky that the first SSRI I tried worked for me and I respond well to it.
Do you have to get a referral from your general practicioner to go to a shrink? Can't you just research some local ones and make an appointment? Hope you find what you need though
