Well I had a couple bottles cause Total Wine was selling two year old bottles at a freaking discount, they're weird about clearance like that. The first one didn't taste so great, was sort of boring, so I expected this bottle to be lame too, but it's great! Really carmely and yeasty, your typical belgian dubbel type thing.

Birthday Bomb was pretty good. Decent caramel sweetness, good amount of chocolate & vanilla, and then a slight burn from the chilies on the finish. I'd recommend drinking one now and then age another for a little bit. Hides the 13% pretty well too.
