I'm not sure if Kik group has a limit of 50 or 51, but if you're able to get in there (I sometimes purge people) we just talk a lot and get the occasional troll, who we then roast. It's pretty fun, and a lot of us are friends now.
The Discord doesn't seem to have a limit, or it has a very big one. We get in a voice chat channel together (I also made one for gaming). There's also different text channels to shitpost, talk about AMWF, talk about gaming, etc. It's pretty fun.
Overall, most members have been nice thus far, and the main active people are on both groups. There is a larger AM:WF ratio, but I've noticed that the guys don't get bored. They talk with each other, too, and talk about dating advice and apps to use. There's a chill atmosphere.
I don't think I look very good, then again I don't have a very high self-esteem.

Yes it is. I'm on the "taller" side (if you even call 5'6 "tall" and I enjoy wearing heels because (curse you short chubby legs!) it makes me look more proportionate; therefore when I go out I tend to hover around the 5'9/5'10 area. It's not something most shorter men tend to be comfortable with and vice versa so a lot of people will just wind up being insecure. :(

Yeah it's pretty decent here. Just about to hit winter so it's gonna get a bit cold but probably nowhere near as cold as what you'd get over in NY. I'm not a real big fan of the cold unless it's snowing and we don't get snow here unless you're in certain parts of Aus.
NYC seems like an awesome place to visit too though. I love visiting huge cities like NYC or Tokyo. Walking around aimlessly gawking at everything is heaps fun.

That's so awesome!! NYC can be a fun place to visit but it's not really a great place to live. (Hence I commute!) But yes, Tokyo is just gigantic. (Isn't it the largest city in the world or something?) but I do like the fact that it's pretty clean and safe. I didn't feel like I had to be looking over my shoulder when I visited. Need to go back and see more. Cities are indeed fun but I adore the country side though, I just need... Trees and actual air that's not toxic ( I'm looking at you Beijing.)

I've done some comps here and there but nothing too serious. The whole head trauma deal is an ongoing issue for me since I want to have enough brain cells to think coherently and that goes against my favourite style which is striking where inevitably you're bound to take a fair amount of hits to the head.
But yeah, Japan's an awesome place and it's super safe. The first time I went was after high school and I remember one night when we were in Kyoto I couldn't get to sleep so I just walked around all night. At no point did I feel uneasy or unsafe. When I go with my mates we usually stay for a couple weeks in the snow to snowboard and a couple in a main city like Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka. Going again next year for the snow again actually, we got our own chalet in the snow and our own house in Tokyo through Airbnb.
Beijing on the other hand isn't as great. The air pollution when I was there wasn't noticable as to mess with your breathing but there was a noticeable difference in sky colour when I got home. Their sky there has this constant haze of brown which was kinda offputting. Not as offputting as how rude the people there are though.
I'm kinda on the fence about the country side though, it depends on where you're at. My family's from Malaysia and they live in a kinda rural area there and whenever we go over to visit them it always gets pretty boring as there's not really much to do. That being said I've rode through the countryside in Japan before with a friend and we loved it

Haven't checked out up north yet but I do plan to. I'm planning to teach english there for a bit once I graduate from uni so I can probably check it out then, if not I could just plan another snow trip and head to Niseko and check out Hokkaido or Sapporo after. Wouldn't mind seeing down south either like Okinawa and all the islands. I much prefer the heat to cold unless there's snow and it's blue skies.
Mountains and forests are cool too though. It's a nice change to having people around all the time. Me and my mate did this 2 day hike a couple years back along the coast. The views were awesome.
