I'm 19, and my beard is still pretty teenager-like, so I'm not fully sold on the look. However, what's better for casual going outs (not a corporate guy so no worries there) : stubble or no stubble?

It's not terrible, but I'd say shave it till you get enough to make it look right. Chick's your age dig guys that are clean shaven anyways. Act mature and you'll get more tail then trying to look mature (as in like an older guy with a full grown 5'oclock shadow).

This tends to cause face growth to be stunted in several ways.
I got hit in my nose when I was 14 and breathed through the mouth until I consciously changed that about 20. I still look pretty attractive but I wonder how better developed could my face have been, and stupid OP obviously was lucky enough to avoid it REEEEE
Yes, I mean the sides. Mouthbreathing causes the face to get narrower.
