>mportant thing in a relationship

Idea that nothing really lasts. Attraction comes and goes, and when it does it's really hard too keep the wheel turning.
>>
>>23618788
>What's important to you in a person?
I don't know. I don't think I really have enough experience with other people in settings where it isn't forced to really ever determine this. I've never had friends before and it would be nice just to find someone to talk to who gives a shit at all. This seems unlikely for me however.

I really wish I had a better answer for you, man.

>>23618795
kek same

>>23618801
Not shave or cut. Mostly because I'm long past the point where I care about my apperance at all. In fact I'm actually intending on never cutting my hair again(it's actually a lot longer now than in that pic). Been about 3 months. I also have been shaving since I was like 12 and literally cut myself every single time and have to shave every other day. So that's total shit.
>>
>>23618897
Shit, I'm sorry to hear.
I'd rather fall asleep and never wake up. Snu snu is great and all but I suspect that once you've gone well past the orgasm and get to the red raw penis penis stage the experience becomes significantly less enjoyable.
>>
>>23618899
Yeah, something I really liked is MDMA, so I think that maybe you should try that. The feeling of love you get from it is insane.

>Favorite band?
Cymbals Eat Guitars, Thee Oh Sees, The Flaming Lips prior to 2013, At the Drive-In

Same question to you
>>
>>23618935
That's actually a good point, I can try to hate on /mu/ all I want but I did discover Boards of Canada there, so credit's due where it's due.
>>
>>23618882
>Have you ever been mugged?

Yeah, I was walking home from the grocery store(actually this is the start to both different times I got mugged). The first time was at 10 at night and a guy comes running out of the alley by the store with a gun at my head takes my phone and bolts. The guy was also like half my size and I'm fairly certain he wouldn't have done anything to me without a gun. This is also why I dislike guns.

The other time I had like 8 dudes follow me out a different grocery store literally 2 streets away from my house and beat the shit out of me for no real reason. They didn't take anything though. Just beat me up and ran away. This also happened at like 2 in the afternoon. The balls on these guys.
>>
>>23618936
>At the Drive-In
Yes!

I'll go with Converge, The Smashing Pumpkins, Title Fight, Björk, Slowdive, A Tribe Called Quest, MF Doom, The Chariot, Squarepusher...
>>
>>23618958
Yeah, I could have said Bjork too. But you asked for bands :p

I like The Smashing Pumpkins and Slowdive too just not as much lately.

Plus now The Smashing Pumpkins are barely even the same band anymore.

I'm actually going to see ATDI on the 19th
>>
>>23618954
Jesus bro, I'm sorry to hear that. I live in a country where muggers don't even carry knives, so you can just walk away from them without them doing anything, but living in a place where anyone can get a gun just seems so... scary. Like, any single person can kill you from a distance if they wanted to, and there's nothing you can do about it.
>>
>>23618949
Boards of Canada is awesome! /mu/ is always a good place to stop by, even if some ppl are kinda rude but that's 4chan right? So I simply don't care.

>>23618971
Bands, artists... same shit haha.
Well, Oceania for me wasn't a bad album, just build for being played live. But yeah, Monuments of an Elegy isn't that great, which I find very sad for them.
>>
>>23618990
That's fair enough - plus it's nice to have some place to unwind and spend the asshole points you culminated over the day, I guess.
>>
>>23618990
Oh I actually liked Zeitgeist( a lot) and Oceania(slightly less). But Monuments was terrible. I just find it hard to accept them as TSP without James Iha. Although I think he's supposed to play some concerts with them soon.

The US is not the fantasy land it was built to be when we seceded from you guys.

I do love NYC but it's so goddamn expensive to live in comparison to the rest of the country. I was actually born there but I haven't lived in New York since I was very young.

Tipping culture? LMAO
Gun culture? People here are idiots(including me) and I don't even trust "responsible" gun owners.
Health care? Barely extant compared to other countries.

I'd rather everybody wear burkas because being naked would get super cold. I'm from the north, so that is definitely not happening around here.

Naked would be kind of cool though on the other hand. People would probably get so used to the nakedness that we'd all stop caring about how we looked.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my biggest - the drinking age. If I couldn't legally go out and get shitfaced when I was 18 my life would be a lot worse. Come to Europe, it's really chill here, actually. And plus the Dutch have a very lax attitude towards drugs, if you're into that sort of thing.

>>

>>
>>23619069
No problem.

I do think it's possible to transition into the working-class into the middle-class, but a lot of statistics point out one common factor: chances are, people will live their lives in the class they were born in.

In rare cases, talent can increase one's wealth. Also, education is one of the only ways to transition into a different class.

ahhhh I see, sticking to the basics. I currently live in a little studio apartment with my boyfriend, he's my best friend but he's away at his cousin's wedding in Florida rn (he left Friday and is coming home tomorrow) and it sucks to be away from him. He likes satire and sex and we smoke weed and do homework together. We wear custom rings from an etsy metalsmith that are made to fit together. He bought me a cactus once when I was grumpy. He's like 6 years older than me which is young for me since my two exes before him were each 10 years older. I don't mind though, he looks like a singer for an indie band. It's lit.
>>23619121

Weed is literally the only thing that keeps my temper under control. Unfortunately.

Honestly I don't really enjoy drinking very much personally.

My actual reason for going there is to consult with doctors about assisted suicide and to possibly live out my final days there. I'd rather be in Amsterdam than Chicago at the end of my life. I got the idea from watching an episode of Vice last month about assisted suicide, and I figured it wouldn't be difficult to convince my family to pay for the plane ticket since my grandmother lives there half the year anyway.

And if it becomes an issue where they consider it death tourism I'll stay there until it isn't I suppose.
