I've been on a few tinder dates and even went out with a girl from tinder for about 6 months. My go to strat is to just to hit people up constantly. Like, if you get a match message them. Not everyone is going to reply but the more people you talk to the higher the chances of hitting it off with at least one.
I also ask to get coffee or something fairly early on. I hate texting and if a girl isn't willing to get coffee after a few convos then she probably wouldn't no matter how much time you invest in talking her up.
All in all it's better to try and meet in real life soon because that's the only way to see if there's actually any real chemistry.
I've talked to girls on tinder and had great conversations, but after meeting them in real life I realized there was no connection. Thus it's better to meet as soon as possible so you don't waste your time. For example, I had a brief conversation with my now ex, and asked her out the next day. We didn't have any texting connection, but meeting up with her it was clear to that there was something.
Also it's tinder, try to not give too many fucks. I have friends who are amazing at getting girls off tinder and their secret is just to not care too much. If send something that's ridiculous it might not work but at least it'll be memorable. Then again, that may hold more true for people who are unreasonably attracive.
