Not sure if my hair counts as long or if its medium but since its grown from a broken bob due to a shitty hairdressers dyejob I'm pretty happy with its length

I've got long hair (for a guy)
Recently started using an argan and hemp oil treatment in it to give to volume and some shine. It tends to look dull some days.

I try not to use heat on my hair, which reduces how often I have to get it trimmed.
I use either Sebastian or Kao Essential shampoo/conditioner.
I also use a serum for shine/strength. Either Kao Essential's serum or CG Argan oil serum. :)

I decided to grow my hair out as I lost weight, but it always looks dry despite never doing anything to it. I'll try out those products Rokku and our fancy mustache man here >>23598125 mentioned for sure.

I've only been doing it for a few days but I really like it. You wash and condition and then towel dry and spray right onto the roots. Shake it around and scrunch it up. It provides very light hold but gives very natural looking volume as well as some texture and shine. I have my hair in a bun 90% of the time I'm at work and it gives it some nice texture and piecing when I put it up after spraying some on.
You look really cute and you're hair definitely has a lot of potential. If you're going to grow it out as part of your weight loss journey I'd definitely advise starting off with a haircut that will facilitate good growth. Also, getting a haircut can be there catalyst that ignites your life changes. As it is now I think your hair could benefit from some layering, especially to make a your bangs look less out of place with the rest of your hair.

I've always wanted long hair, but I know next to nothing about making hair look healthy and even used to use the cheapest brands of shampoo and conditioner until just this week. It'll be fun trying out all of this and to see just how much better my hair ends up looking.
To be honest, I haven't gone to an actual hairdresser in years only cutting the ends myself...I wonder how much they'll think should be chopped off. Oh boy.
