I need some friends to regularly skate with this summer. I am not the best but I'm going to be skating my ass off this summer. So why not make a thread for other dudes to meet and shred.

Don't do fancy tricks, but I do longboard. Wanna actually find someone who will go on missions, even at night, with me to like the beach or wherever our boards wanna go

Yo I hear the argument about longboard vs street or whatever, and I will say this. I love my street. I ride a zero, lows tightened the fuck down. But I also have a cruiser that I will bomb down hills which is kind of fun as hell. I say skating is skating man. Do what you do best.

i dont go down there much except during the summer (to wilmington or surf city) but usually a lot of places near the beach have skate spots. theres a cool place in myrtle beach that i cant exactly remember the name of but if you just google for skate spots i'm sure you'll find some

Well, I'm glad someone can read minds. Honestly I haven't spent more than about 3 minutes on a board, but I've been wondering what's harder or easier to control.

I'm looking at an electric skate board to supplement my traditional transportation (crotch rocket / sedan) for my 1 mile round trip to the office. I've seen the blink, but I feel like a long board with bigger wheels might be worth the extra money.
Anyone have any experience? Thanks for input.
