It's worked until recently. Even 10mg was great, though I always wanted to be on the highest dose because bigger is better. Maybe you're looking at it the wrong way. If you've managed to trick people into thinking you're someone else in order to get away from the negative connotations that were originally attached to you, that means you can blend in. You can therefore get along with many people and have fun in the outside world, away from the computers. Gratz on getting the tools to fit in with modern society as it's a tricky thing to learn if you weren't taught early.
What you have now is possibly an existential crisis - you don't like lying to others as you feel false but the more you do so, the more these lies become a part of how others see you (and then these lies 'are' you from the other people's perspective). What I imagine others would worry about is:
1) The fact that you've been lying to them. This seems to bother people a lot for some reason. They like a certain degree of honesty and when someone is not willing to speak the truth, they can either feel angry due to their belief that you are 'two-faced' or sad because you didn't feel comfortable in sharing your true self, indicating that the friendship is not balanced.
2) Whether you have 'improved' from before. I don't know what was done or how it was done in order to make others not be overly happy with you, but has hiding and changing yourself as a person been what you may call 'beneficial' in terms of talking with people on here? Do you think that both you and the others from here are mature enough to see that you, as a person, have changed in this time of being under a facade? Coming out and reverting to what is 'normal' may bring back the original problems that people had of you but interacting differently with people, as you have, may have made a 'better' person out of you.
Try not to worry about it - you're not going to be able to make everyone that didn't like you before change their minds due to the things mentioned above. Fake it till you make it or come clean, whatever feels good to you, man.
