Reporting back in. So I took the first bar, just felt kinda relaxed but otherwise sober. An hour later I started smoking and just felt high but clear at the same time in a weird way. About an hour after that I crushed half of a second bar and put it in my bong with some bud. Started feeling pretty good but again nothing amazing. Nothing like I was told from what I expected. Took a shot and things got a little "I just don't give a fuck im comfy" for a little while. Got the munchies, ate some food, hen about half an hour after I ate took the second half of the second bar sublingually. Still not feeling much. Might clear my bong of the remainder of the pack that had xanny in it and then pack again with just green.

if you want to do baked edibles right you have to make the butter the correct way, which altogether is ~45 minute process including the time it takes to solidify, and your entire domicile will reek of pot. very worth it though, assuming you use the correct amount of weed

this is why i've never been able to make my own edibles. my mother's friend gave her some when she was with cancer though so i've tried them before, but i don't think they were made right/maybe just not enough weed in 'em for my blud. so i've really yet to experience edibles at all

making cannabutter is a slightly scientific process, using enough heat to pull out the thc and put it into the fat without destroying it. basically put a decent amount of water into a pot and bring it to just under a boil, some bubbling but nothing violent. drop in your butter (I usually go by 1 stick/7g but you can use almost as much as you like) and let it melt, then drop your ground up (!!!important!!!) bud into the mixture. let it simmer for a good 20-30 minutes then pull it off the heat and let it cool off for a bit. pour the mixture through a strainer into another container and put that in your fridge/freezer until the butter solidifies. after that you can just pull the butter out and dump the water. tada, weed butter, put it on your toast and get high
