This is the thread for all your lewd roleplaying and smutcrafting needs. This thread is for (mostly) freeform roleplaying of a sexual nature. Create a character (it really works best if you use F-list) and jump in chat and have sexual misadventures. This is NOT your thread for posting Skype or kik or snapchat. We're not interested in cybering or sexting. The type of roleplaying for this thread is more like your (sex) Dungeons & Dragon (dildos). Don't feel like you *need* to be something fantastical, though, there's plenty of demand for anime schoolgirls and NEETs and wrestlers and punk rockers and other modern character types.
We'll provide advice and feedback on F-list characters, and if you post your profile or flirt in the thread, you might just get typefucked by the character of your dreams.

I guess I wouldn't put him on ignore list because I learned my lessons about what that does to attached players. Yeah, I'm also very easygoing. Even if someone breaches onto my No list, I bring it up pretty nicely and am forgiving. My character's simple and popular as well it seems, so I also get a lot of approaches every time I'm on that I just can't always manage. My big mistakes though are that I tend to accept them when I'm not super into their characters which has the effect of creating a backlog of RPs and also that I'm pretty bad at setting boundaries with people because I don't want to hurt any feelings. Maybe that fosters attachment and clinginess.
Also I have to add, I was in shemale mode with that lesbian partner at the time, which he probably wouldn't have been into anyway.

I have stopped putting meta preferences in my kinks. I find it always comes off as assholey, one or two notes about be polite or approach OOC/IC is fine but picky and if you have more paragraphs telling people how to interact with you than you have describing the goods you are doing it wrong.
I've had profiles with only approach OOC and be polite and be literate and post within 20 minutes and don't even bother approaching without a picture etc etc
Moved away from that and have since had great play with noobs or just weirdos that don't play in a conventional

Hmmm, I'd say the biggest thing for me personally is to add more customs for flavor and organize them along the top of the lists! Also add more images if possible, though that can be difficult to do at times if you're extremely picky with having a specific look. For the body, formatting is always nice but it can get to a point where it's overdone.
On my other character, I do most of the approaching and I just simply ask if they would be interested in playing with me sometime. On Wukong, I've mostly just been approached or things happen organically in a chat room, but I'd still approach in the same way. You can approach in character and some people prefer that, but most people from experience (myself included) prefer approaching out of character to plan things out a bit and get a feel for eachother. I'm okay with IC, but OOC is usually better. You can also do approaches and RPs by notes or F-chat PMs.

I would say to have at least a slight seed of a scene idea, something you want to do with them. Like "hey, you wanna do a scene with <fetish x>?" Or leave it more open, but at least mention a general highlight (or multiple) you think might be interesting.
Or just sling some positive commentary about the profile and see what spins off that; it's a less focused approach, but it can work if the main idea is basically "I want to throw character X at character Y and see what sparks happen". I'd personally avoid that one myself in favor of something with a little more direction, but it's still perfectly valid even if I'm not big on it.
Having a focus will give you more momentum to get over your inaction, though. If you know what (sorts of) things you want, you'll have a little more to work with than "hey wanna play", and that'll make it easier to slide into conversation and setup, since you've given the other party some hooks to grab onto if they find them interesting.

1. First impressions are important, having a profile pic is an essential part of that. A lot of people discard profiles just based on that.
2. People like reading about what you like more about what you don't like, so having a long no list and a very short fav and yes list in comparison is usually not popular. So mull over what else you'd like to do other than consensual pussy eating. I'd advice more custom kinks, people like those. They also help you explain why or how you like something. Personally, novels intimidate me, and force me into a place where writing is unpleasant, because I feel compelled to match length. When someone's putting out three gigantic paragraphs, that's awful for me; I'm more comfortable in the several-sentences-to-a-paragraph range myself (enough to get detail without feeling rushed, but not so much that it gets dizzying), and I know a fair number of people around here fall into roughly that range. F-List as a whole of course has the entire spectrum, from the "/me cums" one-liners, to the Dostoyevsky aspirants.

Sometimes the line is blurred and it can be difficult to gauge. Personally, my two main characters are a humanlike naga and a -mimi, which some people might consider to be in the furry spectrum but I really don't. I've only had that issue once however, and I was quick to apologize and wish them well. Any others that were averse to furries in general actually welcomed an RP with my naga.
In most cases though, blue furries are obviously furs/anthros and still disregard the lack of interest the character has in them. Not sure what it is that makes them do that, but it happens.

5 lines is the max you should need to describe whatever you're doing with the other person. Realistically if you go over that you're going to run out of stuff for your character to do, or deny them the opportunity to respond. There is only so much description you can give. If you feel they aren't detailed or complex enough just make them that way, no one can fix it but you. And if you're not sure, ask someone how your writing was when you're done and how they can improve. Also a great way to make sure everyone likes what you're writing is to watch how they write and what they say they like and incorporate it just for them.

Sometimes people go way over what's needed and just fill their post with fluff or repeated actions to meet their desired post length. Honestly, I'd rather someone write back to me with a short, detailed 2 sentence post than come at me with longwinded multi-paragraphs, but that's just me.
