I'm a wageslave but I only give them 4 hours if my time, just got off work. Actually spoke to a girl at work usually all I do is smile at them, talking about work obviously and very briefly , I guess we're on talking terms and not smiles now.
I actually saw her on tinder once and swiped like because I recognised her from work.
I tell you something, if I was a NEET and not a wageslave I would be more socially anxious like I was in my youth, it actually forces you into situations you might not usually have found yourself in, such as having a vague reason to chat to a girl.
