I'd love to see something like that. I think there are a lot of people for whom enjoying social settings is absolutely possible - but the thought of going from a safe, solitary space to a loud, crowded club or a packed bar is completely jarring. Most of those people, I suspect, would be surprised at how gentle the transition can be over time (and it doesn't have to be a club or a bar - it can be the library, a park, a quiet little coffee shop) with support.

I don't know nearly enough about anime to judge but I can add this. While National Lampoon's Vacation is generally a shitty movie (I have to be in a small minority on that) the is /one/ good, very dark joke. The kids are saying who the best kisser is and one of them mentions their enjoyment about making out with there dad. it was such an unexpected turn, and so dark, that it's done really well.

If you're really that paraniod why not just sign up at one of the many jabber servers out there and use OTR plugin that comes with some of the jabber clients to talk to people.
That way conversations are both encrypted and private.
I know what's my ip runs a jabber server people can use to talk to others.

You'd be surprised how many county and city parks might be near by. I say might because they'd almost be impossible on-line because no one. There are 3 like that, with trails and places to explore, near where I live that I can think of off the top of my head and more if you just want a small beach on the river and maybe a swing set.

Well, I've gained back most of the weight I lost but I do have a well paying job for the next 4 months. And I've resolved, once this soreness goes away, to start excersizing (running, with simple free weights, and mobility (e.g., squats, lunges) training).
