Because it looks bad? It's a thin jacket with too many buttons/pockets/zippers/elastic thingies than are needed. Plus that god awful hood. Maybe if you filled it out more it would look a little bit better. If you're trying to go for the basic bitch aesthetic just wear a plain black sweatshirt similar to OP's.
