Met him on FetLife. I made a thread in an ABDL group in my area and he messaged me about 3 weeks ago. We messaged back and forth for about 2 weeks to get to know each other, then last week we met at a restaurant and went back to his place for vidya (no diapers yet, though, just two grown men playing Mario Kart). Then last night I invited him over to my place to hang out and we decided to go forward with the diapering.
The hardest part for me was just putting myself out there. I've been lurking around various sites for about a year now, just sending messages to people in my area who seem to be looking for what I'm looking for (just non-sexual diaper/ageplay). I've talked to about a dozen people online, but it took me until now to finally get someone who would come over and play.
I feel like the biggest problem is that a lot of people are just really shy about this sort of thing, which makes meeting people difficult. I've had several people just simply stop responding to my messages, even though I feel like I didn't say anything creepy. Normally I just start off with casual conversation about our normal adult lives (interests, work/school, etc.) and move into ABDL discussion once I feel like we're a little more comfortable with each other. Then, if they seem like alright people who aren't just looking for sex, I ask if they would be interested in meeting for lunch or dinner. And that's where I usually lose them.
Unfortunately, I don't know what else to say other than just keep putting yourself out there and keep looking. Hopefully you'll eventually find someone who is willing to meet you.
