You haven't had some good meads, then. New Day makes some good ones, like Breakfast Magpie (black raspberry mead w/ coffee) and Shelby Blue Ribbon (strawberry rhubarb mead). Schramm's makes some excellent ones as well.
Drinking this right now. Really great grapefruit and pine flavors, a little boozy feeling but it is 10%! No kitty, that's not catnip!

It was a few years ago but I believe I did have some by Unibroue when I was in Montreal for a concert. They had a lot of really good beer there, and we could just buy it at the corner store, which we can't here in Ontario

Word. I believe you should be able to get Dieu Du Ciel, which has some good ones like Aphrodite and Peche Mortel.
Drinking one of these now. Very roasty, slightly hoppy (works well), and a nice coffee ground thing going on. Most of Bear Republics stuff is solid.

I'm sure they will with the buyout. I'm honestly surprised they're not in the lower 48 states! They recently announced a flavored version of the Dorado (Watermelon Dorado) along with flavored variants of their other beers, should be interesting to see how those turn out! Mostly looking forward to the Pineapple Sculpin.

Yeah, I saw the 2016 new releases they put out, including Pineapple Sculpin (which sounds fucking amazing!).

A good one I like here in town is 8th Wonder, they've got some really neat beers like Rocket Fuel. It's a Vietnamese Coffee Porter, fucking love it, the flavor is one of the best porters I've ever had.
