awesome fabric
Purpleheart veneer with a shibuichi (25% silver, 75% copper) inlay. Cast the metal, cold forged, 14 step polishing process, bent the veneer, 5 coats of tung oil, and did the inlay. All done by hand, no power tools used for any of it.

It's not tremendously difficult, just extremely time consuming lol. Plus you need a fair number of tools (foundry, casting sand, hammers, polishing stones, anvil, etc).
